The Full Story
About
My name is Katharine Mason; a Norfolk-born former rowing athlete. Having returned permanently to Norfolk in the Summer of 2025, I am excited to have launched my private mobile physiotherapy practice serving the Norfolk community.

Physiotherapy is much more than treatment to me; it is a tool to profoundly transform lives. I am passionate about my work and genuinely enjoy every session, and I bring this enthusiasm and dedication to each and every client.
Drawing from my background in elite sport, I integrate high-performance rehabilitation techniques that focus on consistency, effort, and functional progression- the same principles that drive success in elite level sport. This approach allows me to offer physiotherapy that not only aids recovery but also builds lasting strength and resilience tailored to each individual's goals.

Experience
Having obtained my masters degree in physiotherapy at St. George's, University of London, I proceeded to gain valuable NHS experience in both London and Norfolk; the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Hospital Trust, the Queen Elizabeth NHS Hospital Trust and the Norfolk Community Health & Care NHS Trust, all alongside training full-time.

Then, I moved to Sydney where I l began working exclusively within the private sector, including at one of Australia's top neurological rehabilitation centres (Advance Rehab Centre).
As my practice has spanned both NHS and private sectors in the UK and Australia, with extensive experience across acute hospital, community, and outpatient clinic settings, it has facilitated working with diverse patient groups- ranging from orthopaedics to amputee rehabilitation- enabling me today to provide adaptable, targeted physiotherapy to meet a wide spectrum of needs.

Vision
The idea behind Norfolk Home Physiotherapy arose from my personal experience witnessing the challenges within the NHS; staff shortages, long waiting lists, and limited access to home-based rehabilitation.
Having grown up extremely close to my grandmother, I developed a passion for caring for her and making a meaningful difference in her life. Inspired by this, I am committed to offering personalised physiotherapy care that helps others regain independence and improve their quality of life.
My mission is to provide accessible, consistent, and effective rehabilitation outside the constraints of public healthcare, delivering meaningful results through a compassionate, client-centred approach.
